OPEN ROLES:

  • Role

    Your primary responsibilities will include providing Tier 1 support for Avid Editorial clients and working closely with the larger engineering teams to optimize Avid system workflows. You will develop and document best practices for supporting complex technical processes to maintain or improve operational efficiency.

    Additional duties include:
    • Help define, design, and implement future editorial infrastructure on-premise & Cloud based. • Configure & deploy remote technology hardware and software solutions for remote clients.
    • Work collaboratively to handle all operational and production technical needs.
    • Work in a fast-paced, creative environment with the ability to problem solve on the fly.
    • Update and maintain an accurate inventory of all editorial gear.
    • Ability to work around production schedules and to travel as required.

    Desired Skills and Experience

    IT or Port-Production studio experience
    Experience with Avid Media Composer, Avid NEXIS support experience (ACSR is not mandatory, but is a bonus)
    Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Premiere, Media Encoder
    Familiar with Storage principles and troubleshooting
    Familiar with Active Directory and VMware administration
    Familiar with Cloud concepts or administration
    Familiar with general networking concepts, layered networks
    Knowledge of Davinci Resolve, Filmlight Baselight, Autodesk Flame are all pluses

    This is an on-site position at Assembly's NYC facility, with flexibility for hybrid work based on production needs.
